Yeah this makes sense. This is actually of engineering concern too by the way - in fast-moving spaces (vLLM, transformers/diffusers, Android Java), the fluidity of 'now' causes a lot of problems you don't see in slow fields, e.g. models slipping back to some other version when context shifts.
