This attitude is alive in Scotland!

(It's England that's decided it doesn't believe in society anymore.)

The NHS was founded 78 years ago today.

It was built after the devastation of the Second World War when the country was bankrupt - but when the people demanded a society built on fairness and dignity for all.

Today, we must defend the right to healthcare and rebuild our social security system.

Honestly, I almost called this list Banality of Evil, 24 of the 32 Labour MPs who pledged their support for cuts to disability benefits...they're on Bsky posting mundane and dullish updates on their constituency work.

Need to boop docs for like the 4th time about numbing limbs, hip/upper leg cramps etc ('new' symptoms for me - already diagnosed with fibromyalgia+M.E. but I suspect MS) til they agree to a neurologist.

But the constant medical gaslighting is exhausting.

Can we stop the fear mongering?
Criticise and get angry tomorrow after the Sec of State for WP announces it.
Labour deliberately don't leak for a reason... They're not propaganda Tories! 🤷🏻

If I’m reading this right, without transition protection from old ESA and disability allowances, we would have been £650 worse off on universal credit.

That’s a crazy amount of money to lose out on for prospective new claims even before the new proposed cuts. 🫣
