#discernment
Anyway, grateful for the spirit of discernment, as my people would say. Not as jazzed about how my accurate but early discernment makes me look crazy to other people but you can't have everything.

“Bias” or “discernment”

Wow this says so much about the discernment of the Michigan voters - they saw what she was and said nope

Your slogan sucks.

Use discernment.

Vote blue this time and every time and next time show a little more discernment in the primaries. Demand a little more discernment from your friends.

Or corrupt people who see how easy it is to manipulate and harness the energy of people deep in a religion stripped of all aspects of discernment

The DDF wrote (more like updated and underlined) a set of norms on “alleged supernatural phenomena” and their discernment that’s pretty interesting, imo. www.vatican.va/roman_curia/...

Discernment is attractive.

Vote like your life depends on it (it does)

I’m not saying vote blue no matter who, vote blue with discernment. There are good people on the ballots, they don’t all suck.

Oh and if you’re in Michigan…. You know what to do.

AI slop is a supply side game-changer, so it's easy to focus there, but ultimately everything comes down to demand: will the public, in aggregate, be satisfied with slop or demand more?

skeptics have to understand they're betting on the public's capacity for taste and discernment, and well

NEXT!

Black women in the US are the SPINE OF OUR DEMOCRACY. They are the most consistent voter block, they turn out, and their discernment is unparalleled. If the Black women say someone is bad: BELIEVE THEM.

*cough cough, Haley, cough cough*

have increasingly noticed the trend of people going "yes, this is [a word for undifferentiated filth that a hog gorges itself on because it has no capacity for discernment] but it exists, so" as if that does anything but reflect the speaker's values clear as day
Someone fucking AI slopped out a Shin PC port and I feel an intense need to murder someone over this

Practice discernment. My point stands.

The most prominent of these is Terrence Tao, a Macarthur-winning mathematician who has excited many mathematicians and lay-people alike by publishing his chat-logs and the resulting mathematical work:

Discernment and inner wisdom is available if we practice it often! Imho

I’m deeply grateful for having a Spiritual Director who is a nun and a priest, and serves as a chaplain for the COM in her diocese.

One of the things that struck me this week after my first Diocesan Discernment Committee session is the particularity in having experienced the discernment process.

Look I’m not going to tell you what to do with your one precious human body, but if you’re going to someone that practices a thing passed down during a seance, I’m going to doubt your Discernment.
Chiropractic adjustments are NOT medical treatment! You'd be far better off going to a licensed therapeutic massage therapist or learning some exercises for your back from a licensed physical therapist. "Back cracking" is quackery & can seriously fuck you up.
Chiropractic adjustments can cause strokes in otherwise healthy individuals.

On a personal note, a family member had a chiropractic adjustment and it took a back injury from "not great" to "requiring surgery". They were disabled for years.

Learn discernment & detachment to help achieve a balance in your life & to know what energy is yours & what belongs to others.

Ok, but remember that in this scenario you're a dumb rich guy without taste or discernment.

It’s been 5 years. I’m listening to the Midnight Mass playlist that she made back then, and thinking about how far we’ve come. She’s a married Episcopalian whose hubby is in discernment for Holy Orders. I’m an Episcopalian in discernment. My dad has been to church so many times since then!

this wasn’t in reply to me, I just checked their post history. tho I’m not sure this person has any discernment in the matter.

I feel this in my soul, tbh. I'm a relatively small-time YouTuber and my inbox CLOGS with press release and marketing emails for usually Steam indie games that have no relevance to the work I do, clearly shotgun sprayed out by PR companies that practise no discernment whatsoever.
As Inside Baseball Week continues, Luke raises a very particular games media/games industry issue: we are drowning in press releases.
