taika waititi's directing career should be studied just as a general "what in god's name went wrong here" guide, and apparently the point of divergence was "divorcing your primary creative partner"

white women love to be like "I'm neurodivergent" and the divergence is a cluster B personality disorder
Hell of a news cycle for ambiguously neurodivergent women with weird, possibly fake voices throwing it all away for the most confounding possible man

Black and Latino students sorted themselves out of elite college pipelines when Affirmative Action disappeared in CA.

Asian and White students didn't. This divergence in impact affected earnings later on.
People may think unqualified Black students were taking spots, but that's likely not the case:

In CA, there were less minorities at selective schools after Affirmative Action was banned because minorities who could get into those schools simply didn't apply. They sorted into less selective schools.

chronotype divergence is just a normal part of being humans and it isn't inherently pathological. the part where negative side effects come from is that no one takes this seriously as a thing that exists

This genomic study shows that Col-0 should be considered as a collection of variable lineages with different sets of accumulated mutations, rather than one single fixed reference genotype. The conclusion could be: know where your seeds come from. www.nature.com/articles/s41... #PlantGenetics

My very pragmatic answer is: "an independently evolving lineage that reproduces predominantly within itself, and shows distinct seperation from other lineages in one or more non-genetic traits. The more of these secondary traits show clear divergence, the more confident you can be."

"Here’s a serious question: When is the last time a Republican Senate candidate won a news cycle?" But the polls might suggest a bit more caution. Who's right, the vibes or the polls?

Seymour also thinks tax is violence, government assets should be sold, and public debt is a burden on future generations. I’m getting bored. Let's look at the impact of three years of Willis/Seymour. Divergence. No wonder the kids are moving to Australia.
