Yeah, I found a similar website just to fill in a few blanks, although the wargame seems to refer more to "dog warriors" than "dogfaces".
I'm not fussed about the setting, but it's more that this sort of mistake should be picked up in the edit. And the proofread.

Character generation mentions something called Dogfaces. Wonder what these are? Certainly no explanation in that 25 pages of back story.

He was a guard at what was supposed to be the equivalent of a POW camp. The people in it were detained combatants; the torture was illegal and the people doing it knew that. I doubt the security detail were hobnobbing with the guys doing the torturing, because Marines and dogfaces tend not to mix.

Most of the infantry I knew really didn't like being called "dogfaces." They felt it was obsolete and demeaning, and you know, fair enough.
On the other hand, most Marines loved being called "devil dogs." If I used the term "devil dog battle buddies," I'd drink for free. LOL

Both Duckburg and Mouseton have more dogfaces than ducks or mice (or pigs)… though interestingly enough, Disney Italy calls the dogfaces “truffles” (for their round black noses!) and doesn’t internally consider them dogs!
