Our city council's animal services offer dog safety classes with options for schools and community groups. It is called "Dog Safety Education" here in Ōtepoti and "DogSafe" in Ōtautahi. I don't see these at the Wellington Council website but there must be options.

Don’t give into your pups when they beg for what will make them sick or worse. Also add chocolate & raisins to the no no list. Have a #PetSafe & #DogSafe #HappyThanksgiving

It's 20c and the Dogs have been walked before the sun got up much.
I have seen some out walking on the tarmac now I wish they wouldn't I just took the temperature and the pavement is 24c.
Hurts their poor paws.🐕🦺🐾😳
Walk on the beach or a field in t Woods but please not the pavements.
