Look at this. It was posted by @mandytremmy.bsky.social . She called me a Man Child! This has gotta be for clout right?? And she seriously took that way out of context. Megara is a witch! I’m her king! I’m due respect. ✊

(Did I use that word right? It’s an odd phrase from your world.)

Out of the hundreds of books I've read in my life, these are the ones I remember making me cry. And this goes back to elementary school. The one that affected me the MOST is the Kingdom of Ash book by Sarah J Maas.

What books have made you cry?? 👇

Meggy and Leo are the main characters in the Domum trilogy. Meggy, the reluctant chosen one. Leo, the first to fall in love with the beautiful stranger. I love their slow-burn romance. I love her naivete.

Emaline Sanders is one of my favorite side characters. She is the younger sister of Leopold. She cares deeply for her widowed mother and is very observant of those around her. Sometimes change comes from behind the scenes.

BEHIND THE SCENES First Written Scene My first sight of her was through some leaves. She had seen me first, of course. I knew she would. She really was beautiful, and I knew it was her because she looked just like her mother. Her hair was long and sun bleached, her eyes the same stony blue of her mother’s. Her cheekbones were high and prominent. Her cheeks more hollow, but the resemblance was still there. Her perfect lips parted and her voice was low and soft. “Who do you think you are,” she murmured threateningly. “Coming near me like this? Do you know who I am?” “You’re Megara,” I shrugged. “I’ve come to take you home.” She laughed. “Oh, but I am home.” I ducked just in time for her whispered spell to fly at my head. I calmly walked over to her, the whole time thinking in my head the thoughts to counteract her curses she threw at me as I walked. I stopped just short of her tree she was behind. Her eyes were wide, but she wasn’t scared. She seemed defiant. “I’ve killed hundreds. How do you know I won’t kill you?” “I just know. You would have tried by now.” She studied me momentarily. “You know me. I don’t know you. Who are you?” “I’m Leopold. I know your mother. I’m going to take you home, Megara.” “Meggy. My name is Meggy.”

“You must travel toward the kingdom Camelot. By the time you arrive, they will have suffered a great loss. Go and represent us, Adina, and offer Domum’s support. They will not take kindly to this offer. They will see Domum as weak to send a woman knight, but the gods have commanded you be the one with this task. We don’t care that they won’t accept you. We do not believe they would ever accept help from another kingdom at this time.” “We are there to relieve them of their pest and no more.”
