When I was 8 a friend had a ouija board at her bday party. When some of the girls got scared about it I took over the party and "helpfully" executed a double-blind study to prove that ouija boards don't work. I had recently learned about The Amazing Randi and was excited to be carrying on his work

I have no desire whatsoever to "do my own research". When the hell have I got time to organise a double-blind clinical trial, much less get it peer reviewed? More than happy to leave that to people who actually know what they're doing.
We tried "everyone is entitled to an opinion" for three straight decades and all we have to show for it is four thousand cases of measles and a death cult running the government. It's time for people who don't know what they're talking about to shut the fuck up.
