Maybe @ksedinger.bsky.social and @buffalopundit.bsky.social can be helpful here as to the timeline. I know Buffalo bloggers had meet-ups at Pearl Street and JJ’s in maybe 2005-2010. I recall one downrown as well. @allthingsjennifer.bsky.social and @katebits.bsky.social may have been involved.
