One of my favourite JPN PlayStation 1/2 pads - the Hori Sindou! Sleek and curved with a smooth dpad (gliding your thumb over works best) and three separate modes - plus variable rumble.

Blew through the Contra crouch test, the Sonic spindash test, the Shoryuken test, and made top 10 in my first Tetris 99 match in 4 years.

Doubt I'll ever use the red balls but otherwise a great alternative to a Pro Controller. The buttons are magnetic and can be swapped around, great dpad, extra buttons etc
