My friend introduced me to Dragonsweeper. It's like minesweeper, but you need to kill the dragon by leveling up. Runs in the browser, kind of addictive.
Hitting a monster costs as much HP as the monster has. Mimic chests are monsters with 11hp. Real chests have 0hp.

So, Dragonsweeper is a banger. I'm slowly grokking the mechanics, but seem to always be low on XP vs health and it's a war of attrition. Anyway, it's awesome. It will addict you.

Had been seeing lotsa posts about this minesweeper / dungeon crawler mashup by Daniel Benmergui. Finally tried it, and yeah, it's really good and addictive! Didn't stop playing for many hours until I finally won a run. Hit Points - the mechanic that keeps on giving.
