Drainus was a very fun small game. Even after looping, it took me close to 4 hours to beat, which feels pretty good for a game like it. While i wasn't super into any of the characters this studio doesn't disappoint when pixel art is involved, a delight to watch, play and listen to <:

Been skipping a lot of Fridays but I'm planning to start Drainus tomorrow night on stream. I've had my eye on it for a while now and as long as i don't suck at it too bad i should be done the same day, haven't played a shmup in a long while.

Looking at some of Alliance Art's previous works, I see Drainus, I see Record of Lodoss War-Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth-, I also see Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost, none of which are "AI Slop" by any means.

J'avais déjà pu testé Touhou Luna Night et Drainus qui sont tous 2 excellent
J'ai enchainé tout récement par BladeChimera et bah pareil c'est d'la bonne!

数年前から一面やっては「疲れた……🤮」と進まなかったドレイナスをやっとやっつけたぜ。フックを持たせて高難度二週目へとスムーズに進ませていくストーリー構成が実に巧み！ ゲーム自体もｱｰﾊﾝここをこうすればええんやな(メインシステムであるエネルギー吸収をはじめとして)の誘導がまあまあしっかりしているので遊びやすかった。各種ハードで遊べるので好きなところで遊んでくれ。ワイは実績収集に向かう。あとノーマル～ハードもチャレンジしてみる。

DRAINUS is easily one of my favorite shmups. it feels like gradius and ikaruga had a baby and gave it a name that got it bullied in school constantly, but it emerged stronger for it

DRAINUS, despite the somewhat tragic name, is a fun and lightweight shmup with another godtier OST so I think it's a safe rec, I didn't looove Blade Chimera but I still thought it was Cool and once again has an awesome soundtrack... their soundtracks are always so damn good
