I'm off up to Drawda to stay with pals till Sunday! I have free travel cuz I'm on disability allowance so I'm getting the train! I have a premade salad for lunch and book. This is gonna be great!

Drawda was a county corporate until 1843(?) (although "County of the Town of" rather than "County of the City of") along with Kilkenny, Galway, and... Carrickfergus.

Fire is dying, survived first day back at work - last year on my way to work I got a call from a friend offering me a job I said “F off I can’t go back to work full time and your in Drawda”- I texted him 10 mins later and said give me 24 hrs to think it through. So glad I took the chance #speirgorm

Going up to drawda for a few days to see friends. And currently devouring Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan. The chapters alternate between the POVs of two characters and they each wrote one of them. The timelines are slightly confusing but it's a compelling story.

Or 'tile joint'. Can't really mock though as have only a veneer of a Dublin accent and the Drawda comes out strong when I am in the home town. Adup and adover.

Balor: Balor of the Evil Eye accidentally inhaled fumes from a magic potion his father had brewed. These fumes caused a huge eye to grow in the middle of his forehead. When his servants opened this eye it could kill or turn people to stone!
