An example, albeit extreme, of 'dreckly'. My stepson booked his vehicle in for MOT & service. Normal procedure - garage does 1st MoT test, ascertains what needs fixing, does it, resumbmits for MoT a few days later.
It's taken 14 months between 1st & 2nd test. That's pushing it, even for Cornwall.

Now that reminds me of Cornwall. If a Cornish person, when asked to do something, says 'I'll be there dreckly" you know there's gonna be a long delay. One cornishman when asked, was it similar to mañana?, replied that there was nothing as stressful in Cornwall as mañana.
