Someone found the section under the criminal code that makes Smith’s actions a little not-super-legal by the looks of things.

They even found a way to report it so the RCMP had to take the report.

I encourage everyone to call the Edmonton police and report Premier Danielle Smith's crime of election interference. I just did and they told me to make a complaint to elections Canada, which I did. But I told them word for word what Smith said in her Interview with Breitbart, and that asking the trump administration to "pause" tariffs until after the election because it's helping the liberals is a clear violation of the law. They are maple maga, I pushed and pushed and she put me on with the Sargent and he said it was my opinion. I asked him to read me the criminal code and he said there isn't any laws against that. I told him she should be arrested tomorrow and he's ignoring the law. He blew me off and said it's not something they're interested in pursuing. After hanging up I researched and it's section 465 of the criminal code of Canada. Please quote it. If we bombard the Edmonton police with calls to report her crime, they will have to take it seriously. Enough of these god damned fascists blatantly breaking the law and getting away with it. The number for Edmonton police is 780-423-4567 but they were assholes. The number for RCMP is 1-855-565-7555 and with persistence, and me quoting the criminal code and what she said word for word, they opened a file. Key Laws on Foreign Interference 1. Criminal Code of Canada • Section 52 (Offenses Against Public Order) and other related provisions can apply if foreign interference involves threats, coercion, or fraud. • Section 121 (Frauds on the Government) may apply if a candidate or official receives benefits from a foreign entity. • Section 465 (Conspiracy) could be used if individuals conspire with foreign actors to influence elections. 2. Canada Elections Act • Section 282.4: It is illegal for any person or entity to knowingly use foreign funds to finance election-related activities. • Section 331: It is illegal for a non-Canadian to in 'e Canadian voters ↓ "The longer this (tariff) dispute goes on, politicians posture, and it seems to be benefiting the Liberals right now," Smith said. "So I would hope that we could put things on pause is what l've told administration officials. "Let's just put things on pause so we can get through an election." A number of Canadian political observers criticized the interview on social media. "Something kind of weird about this," said former Postmedia columnist Stephen Maher, who is the author of a biography of Justin Trudeau. "Canadians should decide Canadian elections, and Canadian politicians should not ask the Americans to interfere by delaying trade actions until after we vote." A similar comment was offered by Alberta economics professor Andrew Leach, who said, "Particularly, Canadian Premiers should not be asking foreign administrations to alter their policies so as to affect Canadian elections

Nenshi's face should be on milk cartons. If there was ever an opportunity for the NDP to start contrasting themselves with the UCP, this is that time. DSmith has given the NDP many points of attack and they seem to be unaware of how to take advantage of the unpopularity of the UCP.

when I think of how I was expense-audited at a big corp... couldn't buy another emp a Timmie's gift card more than $25.00 (certainly not a trip to Dubai, DSmith), I canNOT understand how our elected officials are not being audited.
