My major gripe with this is that the line to Downtown South Bend should be the mainline, not the shuttle branch. Otherwise, love the ambition and I’m hopeful the line to Lowell and DTSB will take priority, followed by Valpo.

Plotting what food I'll put into my currently-cleared digestive tract post-endoscopy —around lunchtime— & leaning toward latkes w/ apple sauce, matzo ball soup, & an egg salad sandwich on challah bread, all from Etty's Deli on Chapala near Cota in #DTSB. Went there recently, & can endorse!
Your first meal after your colonoscopy will seem like the best you’ve had in years. It’s something to plan for & look forward to.

I’ll be one flight away from MileagePlus Silver at the end of the year and all of me is really tempted to do a dumb race between the South Shore Line and a flight to Chicago.
Of course the race would time South Bend Airport to Downtown Chicago since you have to take Route 4 to DTSB any way.
