It seems there are a few editions of it on dvd. The Shotgun Edition (that I just ordered) seems to be the directors cut one, but without dvdcompare working it's harder to definitively confirm. But hey, any edition is likely still good fun.

Dvdcompare site is down, apparently for a few days too. This means I'm going to just have to take a punt that the version of Lock Stock I'm buying is actually a decent version. Could end up wasting 6 quid! That's almost 3 quarters of a pint of Guinness in London.

The DVDCompare website has experienced a lot of unavailability in recent weeks, but rest assured we are actively working to resolve this. Whilst this is taking longer than we would ideally like, we hope to be back to full availability soon!

Seems like dvdcompare might be sort of like what I mean, but I find the interface a bit confusing.

On a quick check, turns out the longer version is the 'International Version' at 117 mins, but the first time I saw it it was the shorter US 102 min version on the UK BR. No idea which is the more commonly available version these days, but DVDcompare suggests a very mixed picture on blu ray.

If you ever consider upgrading to the Arrow Video Blu-ray release, I can attest that it looks very, very good. I wrote a review of their Castellari set for DVDCompare when it was released. There are some full-sized screengrabs at the bottom of the review.

I use makemkv to get the files off the disk and into mkv files (the forum has rec drives)
To name the files, i check with dvdcompare to see the length of each file extracted
I sometimes use handbreak if i want to convert to mp4 or reduce file size (midsommar 4k was 89 GB and 4 GB after conversion)
