The US is a dyatopia
"At least two of the Brown University students who were on campus when a deadly shooting unfolded there on Saturday have survived school shootings before."

We definitely ended up with the dumbest and most boring dyatopia imaginable.

Sharing this for no particular reason as the fascists clamp down harder on digital content.

It’s also included in Women and Other Creatures, along with the other Incorporated States series (trans joy in dyatopia), among others.

Can the zombie shows please freaking go away now that dyatopia is actually here?

Absolutely going to fucking happen. And all the libs will say "oh, what a surprise!" and they'll mean it because they are forever sleepwalking into the fascists' carefully curated dyatopia.

Another day begins. May we all know a little peace and may that peace sustain us in our efforts to resist this dyatopia and may that resistance bring justice.

@stephenstroud.bsky.social Can I send you a copy of my book A World We Don’t Want (out 27th Jan) about how far we have slipped into dyatopia, the impacts and what we can do about it. If you like it, maybe you could provide some blurb? Think it might be of interest to you.

Dystopia has begun. The future is in our hands. Many of the features portrayed in dystopian novels are already visible in the real world today, and we appear to be happily heading towards something ...

People are absolutely terrified of anything to do with sex these days, and obsessed with stamping it out everywhere to create some weird sexless dyatopia, and I find it so pathetic.

1935 Sinclair Lewis published "It Can't Happen Here". This is that storyline. The first to fall we're newspapers and reporters. We are entering Dyatopia.

Sinclair Lewis’s It Can’t Happen Here features an antihero who whips up support among angry voters on the back of firebrand rhetoric, fearmongering populism and anti-Mexican sentiment. Sound familiar?

Floridians have been living this for a bit longer. Especially if they didn't line up as part of certain groups.

Seeing what a horrible dyatopia we have here, and seeing the rest of the country say "Yeah, we want that!" Makes me quite frustrated. I legit think folks don't know what they voted for.

Oh God, I remember this insane patent. True corporate dyatopia

I'm not a big Tony Gilroy fan. This also annoyed me because people shat on Lez saying she didn't understand Star Wars when she's forgotten more than most know. Meanwhile Gilroy doesn't care and made a generic dyatopia with a Star Wars paint and is loved.

The double standard really irks me

This is so scary. Forget dyatopia, we are there already. Been there.

Just when I thought my day off was going dyatopia worry free, I get this in my inbox.

This is what we can expect based on what is ALREADY HAPPENING. This is what half the country voted for.
