After writing a bit of auto/biographical poetry I saw the potential of using biographical poetry to analyse the stories the women contributed to my research so developed (what I have called) b(i)o-poems. My research was auto/biographical and we shared feeling a physical empathic pain when our children had experienced restraint at school. “It hurts your heart”. We were all desperate for it to stop. #dyscluded #phd #mothering #autism #send #unpaidcarers #nosupport

Several shared this experience, which also happened to me on several occasions, as the teacher calls them in to speak about their child's behaviour they are made to sit on a chair suitable for a 5 year old: I had to sit there, on the little chair, like a naughty mum. #SEND #autism #dyscluded
