Today I replied to an e-mail from a friend I really like, who is awesome and cool and whose e-mails I love to receive. I had been wanting to respond for a while but somehow just… did not.
The e-mail I replied to was sent in January, 2024.

Eine Vielzahl von Startups basiert auf den Cloud-Diensten von Yandex, die Russen haben dort ihre E-Mails, aber auch private Daten wie Fotos in der Cloud. Behörden arbeiten mit Cloud-Diensten von Yandex, und auch das Militär hängt davon ab.

If I knew why, i could fix it. I moved servers, and the new server times out on any post with a picture attached. And the support department isn’t answering my e-mails.

I get 3 e-mails a week telling me that Meta / AI glasses are the future and amazing and you can do anything.

Mon rapport suite à l’enquête sur nos vulnérabilités numériques a été un déclic, il met en avant nos dépendances aux GAFAM pour stocker nos données, s’envoyer des e-mails, se partager des fichiers, gérer notre agenda etc.. autant d’actions qu’une solution européenne comme Infomaniak permet
