SecUnit discovers a secret Gurathin has.

Dr Gurathin, it pings. I screw my eyes shut, ignoring it and try to focus instead on taking a deep breath, hugely away it knows how fast my heart is beating. Dr Gurathin, I'm on the other side of the door. “Shit.” I need to be alone, I reply back. I won't tell anyone. I've seen far worse things, believe me.

Your heart rate has increased. Yeah, I'm fine. Ignoring the fact that it can easily see my movements, I press on. A small step closer to the door, so many still to do, but if I can shoot one of these assholes down, I'll feel better for it. You are moving. I know. Another step, another bolt of pain. Stop! No.

Lokius Midnight Mass AU. Well, kind of.

#Lokius #WIPWednesday #WIP #Fanfic #EbsWIP
Mobius pushes up against the stream of people leaving the church. It's after midnight, technically Monday, but that didn't seem to bother any of the islanders. They come for the miracles, hoping for their own. If only they were true. When he finally gets inside, he sees the one he's here for, back turned to face the altar, head tilted up. He almost can't breath from seeing those gorgeous black curls he remembers, but his eyes cast down and he swallows, seeing strange purple robes. It doesn't look good on Loki. Not their colour. His footsteps echo as Mobius takes a step forward down the aisle between the pews. The church is not as oranate as some he's seen. It's almost humble and contradictory to what he would expect from Loki. This whole anomaly is not something Mobius has seen before and he needs to tread carefully, because this shouldn't be happening. Loki is meant to be at the end of time, not here making miracles happen for a tiny island populace. This isn’t the way he wanted their reunion to go, but apparently life has other plans. He reaches Loki, a mere step behind the god playing dress up. “Okay, Loki, going to tell me what this is all about?” There's a laugh that fades into a sigh. Loki straightens their shoulders and turns and the light catches sharp teeth that were never there before, stained red. They take a step down, forcing Mobius to shift backwards. “Mass is over,” Loki says, eyes flickering over him, then coming back up to meet his own. “There will be another one tomorrow.” And the next night and next night. Loki living the same night over and over in a place that isn't their life, that means nothing to them and isn't real, just conjured imaginings of a lonely god. Mobius only hopes it's not too late to stop this madness.

Lokius. Trans Mobius and Loki kissing in the Archives.

#Lokius #SevenSentenceSunday #WIP #Fanfic #EbsWIP
At some point, he notices Loki pulling his tie loose, then trying to undo his top button and clearly not having much luck. There's a faint growl and they pull back, forcing Mobius to try and chase those red, swollen lips. He ends up staring at them until his brain kicks in and he blinks, looking up to see a faint flush of pink over pale cheeks and darkened green eyes. “Why are these things so difficult?” they purr, fingers working to open his collar. It takes a few seconds of fidgeting and then the material drops, falling away from his neck, allowing Loki’s fingers to brush along the exposed skin. “So beautiful.” Mobius shivers, biting his lip both in pleasure and to stop the self-depreciating rebuttal forming on his tongue.

Post S2, Loki watches Mobius

#Lokius #WIPWednesday #WIP #Fanfic #EbsWIP
Most days, Mobius starts his ‘morning’ with black sludge from the small coffee machine in his small boxed TVA apartment. The machine is set the night before so it’s ready and waiting for him when he eventually drags himself out of bed. Loki knows it's disgusting but Mobius loves it, and so they try to remember the smell as best they can. It almost works, but they're not sure. Maybe they are simply screwing up their face and not smelling anything at all.

“Ah! Mobius.” “I’m gonna need you to be quiet.” He leans in close and has to stop himself from smiling at the gleam in Loki’s eyes. “How much trouble will you get in?” they purr. “You're not gonna do it then?” “I won’t need to.” “Is that right? Open your collar for me.” Loki glares at him, but does so, loosening it enough to expose more of their neck. Mobius leans in and licks a stripe, then sucks hard enough to leave a bruise. “Norns!” “You’re gonna keep that promise?” “Yeah. Yes.” Loki bites on their lip and Mobius presses another kiss, then scrapes his teeth along their skin just because he can. A quiet whimper slips past their lips. “You’re beautiful when you get riled up, you know that? It’s one of my favorite things.” He squeezes them firmly and Loki pushes themself off the wall, arching their back a little. “Mobius!” “Quiet, remember.” He presses kisses up their jaw to their ear. “I could keep you here like this forever.”

The Citadel feels the same as it did the first time they came here. Everything is quiet, dark and oppressive. Their footsteps echo along the hallway, only broken by the crumbling of rock from the walls. They walk towards the open elevator, partially relieved they won’t need to face He Who Remains until they step out into his room. “Where’s the other one?” he asks immediately. “Doesn’t matter.” Loki steps out and walks towards him. “I think it’s time you and I had a little chat, just the two of us.” “I see.” The man leans back in his chair and winks. “And what would we <em>talk</em> about, hmm?” They stop in front of his desk and lean on it. “Everything.”

“Oh, yes,” Loki purred, stepping back a fraction. It wasn’t much but Mobius couldn’t say if he truly wanted space. The way the trickster’s eyes shimmered when he brought the book up into the small space between them felt electric. They tracked his tentative touch, how his fingers gently ran along the edge towards the joint. He let himself linger there, feeling sure Loki would enjoy the tease of circling the little open space. From the whimper he heard, Mobius knew he’d guessed correctly and did it again and again. By the time he finally dipped the tip inside, Loki had lost all composure entirely.

Lokius WIP

Set during sex (not explicitly described), allusions to choking, some swearing. Mainly Loki in awe and love.

#Lokius #WIPWednesday #WIP #Fanfic #EbsWIP
Norns, the way Mobius rides them feels good. Impeccable. Each time he sinks down and takes them deeper, it drives Loki insane. They want to capture everything about him and store it in their memories forever. He is magnificent in the way his eyes scrunch up in pleasure. The sweet moans escaping his lips are divine and make them catch their breath in response. Mobius leans forward, lips twitching as he moves Loki’s hands above their head. They can’t help the whimper that leaves them as they stare up into his darkened eyes, watching how the bedside lamp catches the shine across his forehead and the deepening blush across his cheeks. “I fucking love you.,” he rasps. “Love everything about you.” Loki chokes the words they want to say because Mobius is beautiful. His belly might be soft but his inner strength is strong. The trust he offers pulls them in like no one else can. The way he looks at them like they hung the very stars is breathtaking. The thought makes them squirm with need. There is only one thing that would make this moment perfect. One thing that Loki wants to ask for but they can’t. It’s a dire need, a desire that yearns to be fulfilled, but shame bubbles in their gut at the thought of needing this—not when they’d seen how their life was meant to end with a firm hand squeezing the life out of them. Giving voice to this sick desire feels impossible because Mobius is nothing like their past encounters. He looks down at them, his hips moving like a machine while he races towards his peak. Loki can’t tear their eyes away, cataloguing the twitches on his face, waiting for the moment the tension snaps and the lines around his eyes soften. It fills them with a sense of pride that their body gives him what he needs, even if they have to fake following him over the edge. The love they feel for Mobius pales in comparison to their urges.

Mobius enjoys his morning shower before Loki appears to tease him. Suggestive but clean.

#Lokius #SevenSentenceSunday #WIP #Fanfic #EbsWIP
The shower is hot, thankfully. Mobius doesn’t think he’d be awake if it wasn’t for that heat seeping into his muscles, relieving the aches from working hunched over his desk all the time. Not that he’d been able to concentrate much with how sensitive his nipples have become from Loki playing with them constantly. They are determined to be right and apparently the only thing Mobius can do is make sure his body obeys… and soon. Sighing, he pours shampoo into his hands and begins massaging his scalp. It has no scent, but the simple act soothes him and more of that tension melts away when he closes his eyes and leans back to wash the suds out. He hums, delighting in how the water dims his hearing, and then gasps as a blast of cold air hits him and he realises he’s no longer alone.

A grieving Loki tries to pull himself together to fix things. Temp character death mentioned.

#Lokius #WIPWednesday #WIP #Fanfic #EbsWIP
Loki’s footsteps echo through the hallway towards that wretched elevator. B-15 is waiting for him there, holding the door open. She doesn’t say anything when he walks past and heads inside. She already knows what’s on his mind. Instead, she presses one of the many buttons and leans back against the wall. The machinery whirs and they rise, leaving the horrors of the basement floor. HIs eyes sting from all the crying he’s done, but he can’t do that forever. He needs to pull himself together for.. for him. If there’s a way to fix this, as B-15 suggested, then it has to be his focus. He has to bind the tear in his heart up temporarily and ignore the way it hurts, but his mind keeps thinking back to that prone body left behind. The silence etches on and on until the elevator stops and the door opens. Loki starts to walk out and B-15 grabs his arm. “We will find a way. I promise you.”

Letting out a breath, they raise their hand again and bring it down a little harder on his other cheek. “Ah! Two!” Mobius gasps, back arching. Loki’s lips twitch, but schools their expression to take in how he’s handling it. His breaths are a little ragged, but not for long. Once he gets it back, he slumps down and lies still, waiting on their next move. They deliver a softer one, then another, and only give him a harder smack when they’re sure Mobius doesn’t expect it. The resulting hiss is exhilarating.

“Whenever you are ready,” they say. Those blue eyes snap to them then, shimmering in the dim light. Loki’s breath catches in their throat at the rawness of it, but the moment is gone just as quickly as it happens when Mobius looks down at the floor. He mutters something under his breath, removing his tie, then his jacket. It’s a slow process due to the shake in his hands but they wait, trying hard not to stare.
