Rolls for half-frame day are pictures! If anything the Ecofilm makes UFX 100 faster than box - definitely dense negatives. Scanning later tonight probably.

Getting my half-frame day rolls prepped in the Patterson - first time I'm changing developer in a while. Trying out Bellini Ecofilm - a liquid xtol clone. Hoping the softer grain may be advantageous for half-frame over my usual HC-110.

Had a really wonderful time watching the series of Indigenous films at the Clinton Street Theater last night. "The River Remembers" was especially beautiful and impactful. Go watch it!!
The view from inside the Clinton Street Theater towards the screen. A person is speaking into the mic and the screen reads "The 2026 Portland Ecofilm Festival - Portland, Astoria, Florence, Olympia - portlandecofilmfest.org" A review sheet for four films, with stars poked out (in rating) for each one. Lanawaru got 4 stars, Red-shaded Green got 4 stars, Oceanbone got 5 stars, and The River Remembers got 5 stars.

Trailer: Roost 2020 PDX
Hey Y'all this is a brand new channel. Not sure I'm going to keep up with it, but subscribe if you're interested in documentaries about nature, civil rights, and the climate.) ROOST 2020 PDX premieres at the Portland EcoFilm Festival on April 30, 2026. What begins as a traditional natural history documentary about Portland’s crow roost becomes a chronicle of a city navigating a year of immense turmoil and unexpected beauty. ROOST 2020 PDX weaves together seemingly disparate threads: thousands of crows gathering to roost, empty pandemic streets, tear gas clouding protests for racial justice, federal agents occupying a city, and wildfires.
