Well, in that one they had ecologists who had seen Things Man Was Not Meant To Know instead of ecoterrorists, though. (I have not actually played every generation, but that happens to be one of the ones I played.)

On a funnier note, I love the lore that the androids built by other androids are made so flawlessly they can supersede corporate programming and understand that capitalism is a threat to humanity, and since they’re obligated to protect humanity however possible, well, theyre all ecoterrorists
Im not saying I relate to the artificial humans in the Alien franchise but I’m not gonna lie and say I don’t get being identical physically to those around you but also fundamentally different and kept separate in a way that makes them treat you as lesser and weird
