Project 2029 by the opaquely funded R wing Policy Exchange seems conceived to bring the same to the UK with #ReformUK as the vehicle.

3/ Cross argues that no legal pathway exists for trans-inclusive gendered provision. In defending this stance, Cross relies on the new EHRC Code of Practice, suggesting the EHRC would probably not leave out such a route given its expertise.

The EHRC would not conceal ways to do tranny inclusion because they are captured!!! They couldn’t find a way, so there must be none. 😂😂😂

The official equalities watchdog writes to Farage’s party to ask what action it is taking to comply with the Equality Act.

Reform UK has a lot of questions to answer.

There! Fixed it.

the ehrc is corrupt.

like if you actually read modern tory writing, even more than stuff about political economy, theyre still seething over stuff like the EHRC, or belfast/devolution, or the human rights act, or the end of the law lords

Farage claiming Reform UK has rigorous vetting while the EHRC investigates party members for racist and misogynistic remarks on camera! A masterclass in populist denial: dismiss bigotry as 'stupid things' and pretend systemic bias is just a minor oversight! #FBPE

pretty sure the City will point out that the EHRC publicly stated that they did not include the point because of a lack of case law.

It’s actually quite shocking to me that Labour MPs have been less vocal in their opposition to the new immigration rules than they were to the EHRC guidance!

I mean it made no difference in the final analysis, but there actually was quite a strong pushback.
November 3, 2026 at 5:31 PM
The only reason Peggy remotely had a case was because of govt footdragging and blatant corruption at the EHRC, and some very legally dubious results with earlier lawfare cases.

Trans women are not a danger to anybody. Trans women need protecting.

The westminister government are complicit in allowing state institutions like the EHRC, the NHS, the Forces, the Police and more, to put into place polices that are directly in opposition to the Equality Act 2010.

It's a blatant equality act violation to say no according to the EHRC
November 2, 2026 at 12:33 PM
Busy time for the EHRC, who also recently wrote to the Greens following complaints its new 'Zionism is racism' policy might also breach the Equality Act.
November 2, 2026 at 3:15 PM
I know MPs did pushback re these immigration reforms as announced (and arguably achieved more substantial ones whereas the EHRC stuff was basically unchanged in all the ways that mattered).

But it’s still striking. They want the other shiny policies Burnham has promised them I suppose

He's probably worried they're being exposed
EHRC is now looking into complaints from the public after the ITV documentary
They want to know what action, if any, has been taken against ppl in the film making misogynistic, racist and sexual abuse remarks on camera

“It’s on government and our watchdogs and everybody with responsibility to understand the impact, and where there is a negative impact to take action.”

Stonewall cannot be taken seriously if they won’t acknowledge that it is the govt and EHRC that have deliberately caused this problem for us.
Trans rights are being rolled back across the world. Under Labour we are witnessing the largest attack on trans, as well as human in general, rights for decades. The Supreme Court ruling has opened the door to trans individuals being excluded from public life. 1/

Reform insists racism has no place in the party and says it is confident it has complied with the law.

The EHRC is assessing the complaints before deciding whether further action is necessary. A formal investigation has not yet been announced.

How do workers rights work with trans rights and ehrc bullshit now?

Honest question
✊ New rights. Stronger unions. More power for workers.

From 30 October, the Employment Rights Act brings new workplace access rights for unions, stronger protections for workers and recognition for equality reps.

A big step forward for workers' rights.

I also think the pretzely argument Mahmood makes just don’t bear the weight of the contradictions.

It’s like Bridget Phillipson’s argument hah the EHRC code was ‘helping’ trans people by ‘keeping us out the headlines being attacked’. It’s fundamentally illogical
