I am begging Ford: the Electric Ford Explorer will be the highest selling sports parent vehicle in the history of the world.

Get an electric small truck or car to pull the carriages around New York's sights and landmarks. They could go more easily through the city with no suffering. Decorate the vehicle with horses. Times change; people need to adapt.

It looks like Amazon has flipped the switch on Northern Virginia deployment of its Rivian battery-electric delivery vans--I've now seen six or so in Alexandria and Arlington since Thursday. Which is good: You want a vehicle that makes frequent stops and starts to be an EV.
