We bunked off jobs to do the next bit of our #EnglandCoastPath walk. Higham (ok not on the coast, but on a disused #UKCanals instead to the QE2 Bridge.

The Thames and Medway canal turned out to be a delight. I love the history behind these waterways.

I've walked almost 1000 miles of the #EnglandCoastPath so far. I love it. But it simply isn't true that you can walk to the coast, turn left or right and walk beside the sea for as long as you like. Landowners prevent access to so many miles of it.

Evel Knievel was an American stunt performer and entertainer. Throughout his career, he attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps. He was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999. DISCLAIMER: There is no official record of Evel Knievel owning a field in Northumberland!!

We had to get back to it first. Why oh why do developers get away with no footpaths?
