- Six episodes per season is tragically too short.

Possibly best of all, Jimmy Perry turns up on camera in episode six playing a deliberately awful front-of-cloth comedian called "Cheerful Charlie Cheeseman". It really does feel like they thought six episodes was their lot, and planned accordingly.
