Linguists have theorised the contemporary American accent is closer to the Tudour era English one than the contemporary English one (we got a bunch of vowel sounds from the Dutch in the 1800s) so weirdly a straight American one might be *more* accurate

Today is 2026, there's tons of people currently alive who lived to see the breakaway from 1900s era Russian politics, most people in European politics, actually.
