Alternative angle
A Gpose portrait of Fray as a child, alone in the Brume. Well, not exactly alone, since he's being haunted by darkness-borne apparitions of his dead childhood friends, Erik and Randall. Erik, headless, appears behind the fencing, reaching out to rest his hand on Fray's shoulder. Randall, consumed by darkness, kneels by Fray, hugging his lower half as if to pull Fray down towards him. He's grinning in a predatory way, and his eyes glow red in the same way Fray's one day will. Both younger and older brother are wreathed in auras of darkness, befitting of their natures as hallucinations. Fray is looking down at Erik's hand with guilt. He holds his daggers out, one close to his body, one close to his face. In his left hand, pinched between his finger and his thumb, is the blue bird carving Lucient made and gave to him.

Day 2 - Alone/Together

"Don't leave us behind."

"It hurts...this city hurts."

"Don't you dare dream. You're a Brume dog like us. Stay here with us. Die like a mongrel like us."

"Avenge us, burn it all to the ground..."
