Now's the time for Britain to become more Europhile.

Trump is coming, so we need a UK-EU security agreement fast
History shows Britain becoming more Europhile when a wild card is in the White House

I thought you might enjoy a few good Europhile pick-up lines on this Valentine’s Day. Be warned: Whispering one of these as molto romantico as you possibly can just might make your travel dreams come true.

Labour generally depresses the heck out of this soft-left-centrist Europhile progressive.

Something about the little europhile lowpoly background buildings in an arcade game... @devilsblush.bsky.social would get it

Je partage ce point de vue d'un Britannique francophile et europhile ...

Also, we rarely recognise effective europhile political communication because it's so rare, but 'chlorinated chicken and hormone -injected beef' was genius. The whole debate was framed around the most vivid and unpopular element of a US trade deal.
Since the likes of @iandunt.bsky.social are happily returning to the topic of chlorinated chicken, let's bluntly recall that this is almost entirely a proxy battle for whether UK trade policy should favour the US or EU more.

In the past month, and I would mark the watershed moment as JD Vance's Munich speech, Europe has realized there is no going back: There may still be periods of Europhile Democratic administrations in which closer cooperation is possible, but the fundamental nature of the relationship has changed.

The poor man has been living in hell all his adult life

“The original sin was the ousting of Margaret Thatcher by Europhile Conservative wets in 1990…”

He points out that Mandelson is a europhile, so maybe that was a misprint

RFK Jr. is not a Europhile, he’s a plagueophile
I see people looking at this and saying it’s because Denmark’s health care system is better than the US’s and so we need vaccination more than they do, except fuck that entirely. That itself is an antivax view. This article makes clear that Denmark is a weird antivax outlier even in Europe.
Should the US adopt Denmark's vaccine schedule for children? @jakescottmd.bsky.social argues no in a piece that points out the risks such a move would pose for American kids. www.statnews.com/2025/12/19/d...

that being said i think at some point the Europhile wing of the greens and the left-populist wing of the greens will eventually be at odds

Just one look at those who want to join it is enough to make me a Europhile

Did you see how a dog was first to cross one of the Romanian Hungarian borders? What a good Europhile boy.

I put the “cautiously” in “cautiously optimistic” on this stuff.

But if anyone has a chance at giving Canada meaningful integration with the EU, it’s a europhile former head of the Bank of England who, if an election were held today, could win an overwhelmingly majority (70%+) of seats.

'communard' and 'liberal' have linguistic origins, but for the europhile christian democrat faction they actively refused to mention christianity and replaced it with a bizarre sacralized hegelianism. so why does fascism get to leap across the contextual abyss

Maybe, but AFD is breaking containment in Germany with American help, France is one bad election cycle from Girl Hitler, etc. Anyone could have a bad day. I think Europhile Brit haters overestimate the difference between the UK and other major European states almost as much as Europhobe Brexiteers.
It would make sense if not for the likelihood that England (maybe the entire UK) slips into some Musk-fueled relapse after a pause placing things right where they were before during initial Brexit run-up.

Let me get this straight: Magyar is a chud europhile instead of a gigachud eurosceptic

Sous ce message europhile et optimiste du président Emmanuel Macron, un bon millier d'europhobes qui, tel un essaim de guêpes, bourdonne en dardant des commentaires haineux.

I'm no europhile but "Europe mocks us when they're one election away from electing Nazis" is such a weird American dunk. We are like, 2 elections into electing Nazis. We have liberal intelligentsia who say it's an embarrassment for liberals that the cordon sanitaire hasn't been dropped far enough

There is a sub-culture of Europhile American mid-level and senior officers with a lot of experience of and even profound attachment to Europe who may no longer feel comfortable in US DoD yet if hired could make a very useful contribution to European militaries and EU institutions
