Remaining vote will probably favour Dems too as most of it will be postal and expats

Expats? You mean immigrants I guess.

Y’all don’t know how badly us expats needed a win.

It’s been rough for a long time.
Friends from all over the country are texting JR and I about Blouth Carolina and I need y'all to know that they tear up at EVERY SINGLE TEXT and I'm so fucking happy for them.

Having created a rhetorical structure where liberal US Jews are “not really” Jews & are traitors/dangers to ~the Jews~ (Israel, as MAGA ethnonationalism sees all Jews as Israeli expats), they justify using antisemitic rhetoric to attack actual Jews ‘in defence’ of abstract theoretical Jews.

Er blevet tilbud en lejlighed til 14.200 for to værelser. Hvem er de her mennesker, der kan betale for det. Er det allesammen expats og par? Samfundet hader barnløse singler.

Racism hurts our state. While traveling, I’ve met Metro Detroit expats who named their relatives’ racism & said they were glad to be away.

Religious bigotry hurts our state. We've seen the results in this election.

I'm praying for better days in this state that sheltered my ancestors and holds me.

Looking at you, specific brand of expats.
Not to be a hater at this time but I wish I'd kept screenshots of all those old Bluesky posts about how all Southerners should just be abandoned to fascist wolves. If that was you, libbing it up tonight will be allowed once you fill out your Apology Form. Get your paperwork done

Thank you, America, for helping to restore some faith in humanity, and the system. Serious work to do. Good luck, and get at it, please. Thanks again from expats everywhere.

Wait. Which checks? The $5,000 DOGE checks, the $2,000 tariff checks, or the new $5,000 election checks?

//Narrows eyes suspiciously. Is there some secret government welfare trough nobody's telling us expats about? Where did you freeloaders line up?
I don’t think we’re getting those $5,000 checks from Trump.

If Spain introduced the same, then 95% of British immigrants (also known as expats) would be sent home.

"Connect with fellow expats who can help explain what a terrible mistake you’ve made."

There's a whole publishing industry built around this. Half of US expats work in it. The other half write books like "Why raising baby in Estonia makes me a better mom."

Ueno, from what I hear, was drastically easier to get accounts and credit cards with for foreigners, so a lot of these Brazilian expats were clients. The bank became the largest private issuer of bonds in Paraguay, and those bonds quickly became junk.
