Santa Cruz California sure does know how to throw a bike party!
Great turn of about 150-200 folks. We enjoyed a warm evening biking through town together. Here we are at our first party spot on the cliffs of the sea. Apparently we crashed a wedding in the science center behind us 🤫 🚓🚨

Just in case anyone is confused here. I ride the left side 2 wheel micromobility device. I am allowed to ride on trails, bike lanes, residential streets, & sidewalks - if I do not feel safe fighting for my life with drivists. I have a throttle so I can get my 55# bike going from a stop. #extendpenn

I am fed up with this "better than nothing" bullshit in #stripdistrictpittsburgh. We need PROTECTED BIDIRECTIONAL 🚲 INFRA thru the Strip to Lawrenceville & beyond. ##extendpenn This was a shit compromise at the safety of all cyclists. I do not want to ride in Spring Way with the dumpsters & trash.
This and stupid free car storage on city streets. Business owners in the #stripdistrictpittsburgh fight the addition of a protected bike lane bc they think the massive SUV parked there is someone at their store. 😡 #extendpenn
Zoning is the foundation of car centrism limiting greatly bike networks we want due to lack of political support because most are mandated to use cars due to our mandated low density and high housing costs, yet you rarely mention it as the fundamental problem @biketalk.bsky.social
