Being totally forreal, the Shen situation kinda reminds me of F1nnster. Lot of folks gave them shit for IDing as a man while presenting femme, and then the MFer started horomones.
I think we all need to get a lot cooler with people being experimental and not make a huge deal about it.

I had wanted to be a girl for years but after joining Twitter in 2020 and making a lot of trans friends online I became a lot more comfortable with the prospect of actually transitioning. And then in 2021 I started MtF HRT and I’ve never been happier ☺️
