There’s no disclosure because Steam only requires it for paid games. F2P games aren’t required to disclose AI usage.
I have some feelings about that, ESPECIALLY with the amount of F2P games aimed at kids, and if you do too, you should make Steam aware of it.

For people unaware and playing/streaming Where Winds Meet, it uses GenAI for NPC chat bots, and let's you import a photo of yourself and a voice clip for character creation, which I'm sure I don't need to explain why that is fucked up

Locking 40% of your pathetic 10 character roster off the bat for your closed beta is certainly a choice.

gaming getting horrifically expensive sucks, but lets not pretend f2p games are some last bastion, especially with the fact that a lot of people admit to struggling financially due to f2p games
