The weekend is mostly exploring the LA area by visiting Torrence and Santa Ana with a Lunch stop at Fullerton. At least got to visit Fullerton to see some of the train displays and enjoyed that Santa Fe Cheeseburger while watching trains go by is my highlight of the weekend.

Rebuilds of locomotives especially with a major emissions upgrade usual result in almost brand new units outside of select parts recondition and certified.
My understanding is the F59phi rebuilds done by the state were more comprehensive than the Metrolink F59phr and have held up better
