No, they’re taking shot clock violations on purpose because they are worried about giving up fastbreaks if they actually take a shot and miss.
Dems are so afraid of saying anything out of bounds that they’re shooting from inside the tip circle at center court. Sometimes at their own basket!

Yes I like arugula. I also really like fastbreaks, Mountain Dew, and cotton candy icèd cream

They were somehow “uncomfortable” because they fucked up a bunch of fastbreaks, in the first half? Michael Cole-ass analysis.

Still thinking about how Reno's Costco had boxes of FASTBREAKs. 😫

The Nuggets have had some of the most mind-numbingly stupid fastbreaks lately.

Chicago is actually a pretty good team this year. They also should not be outhustling on their fastbreaks, especially at home. Adjust our defensive issues for the second half and this feels winnable.

Nuggets have botched several fastbreaks with tentativeness. We should not be feeling this much pressure in a February game.

Peyton, don't you dare start doing stupid stuff in fastbreaks again. We've talked about this!

The Wolves had 2 TO's on 3 vs 1 fastbreaks vs Cleveland.

Inexcusable.

Mentioned a few Nellie axioms on "Warriors Plus-Minus"...

-Good fastbreaks happen when your power forward runs hard

-You want the other coach to put bad offensive players on the floor to try to match up with you. Never do it the other way around

-MT had a big one: Your point guard should SCORE
Sure would love to read a column distilling the wisdom they passed onto you.

The first one changed how I watch fastbreaks. It's so clear when you look for it:

-If your PF beats the other PF down court, the opponent's Gs have to either defend the PF running to the rim and ignore your Gs ... or defend your Gs and ignore the PF running to the rim.

How are they so bad at 2-1s and 3-1s in fastbreaks?

I really don’t get it.

Genau so!

"Guten Abend, die Damen! Ich bin CPS und wir üben heute Fastbreaks. Wenn jemand aus der Reihe tanzt, machen alle Burpees. Noch Fragen? Nein? Gut, los gehts!".

JB on Stewart: "He’s an elite rim protector. Guys go in there thinking they have great opportunities. He has great timing, great hands, he blocks shots cleanly and he does it in a way that leads to fastbreaks for us."

Can't believe that Reese's fastbreaks, nerds gummy clusters and the take 5 are all inventions of my lifetime. I love candy technology.

Would still like to see Christian finish on some of these fastbreaks though.

Please stop letting Watson get the ball on fastbreaks. I'm begging you.

“Go for the quick 2 and extend the game” is my least favorite announcer tic, but worth mentioning is the need every time there’s a run out after a missed three saying something like “that’s what happens on missed threes” when statistically, missed layups lead to far more frequent fastbreaks than 3s.

Shaedon and Ja doing 360° windmills on fastbreaks while down 30 will be MUST SEE TV this fall.

A trivial example, I hated including “held opponent under 100 points” as a data point in reports, because that just incentivized playing slower, and we had Giannis so fastbreaks/pace = good, so chasing that marker didn’t just render it irrelevant as a measure, it was actively harmful to our success.

These fastbreaks the Nuggets have been giving up the last few games are unreal. They look so discouraged.
