#fedipub
@evan I like these progress trackers you're doing. 👍️

Just sent a PR on the non-ASCII handle on for Fedipub and Manyfold.

Fedipub v0.10.0 is out, with support for RFC9421 message signatures, so now your Rails ActivityPubapps can be more secure - and no code changes required!

@Floppy @fedipub I think that's what everyone is doing. It would be nice to have a test server to use!

@evan RFC9421 code on @fedipub complete! Just need to test it a bit then it'll be ready to release.

Do you know any ways to test that signatures are compliant, and that things can communicate properly? (Other than just trying to talk to a production Mastodon server and hoping for the best)

@evan RFC9421 update for you - I'm working on it in @fedipub at https://gitlab.com/fedipub/fedipub/-/merge_requests/125. If you want to update the support matrix, add Fedipub and change Manyfold to "via Fedipub" or something. Hopeing to get it done this week.
Draft: Implement proper RFC9421 signatures, with draft-cavage-12 double-knocking fallback (!125) · Merge requests · Fedipub / Fedipub · GitLab
This MR implements proper RFC9421 signatures for all outgoing requests, and verification for incoming requests. See https://swicg.github.io/activitypub-http-signature/RFC9421 and

Fedipub has been awarded a grant from @NGIZero to further develop our ActivityPub Ruby gems; improving documentation, adding more features and moving beyond just Rails!

(Oh, and this new website is the first output 😁 )

Currently I'm juggling development for @manyfold and @fedipub, while also trying to get @mosscap the Rails fork off the ground.

I have funding from @NGIZero for Manyfold and Fedipub, but it's for R&D, not maintenance, and depends on me delivering features. That means the *other* work that goes […]

@Floppy @fedipub @manyfold @NGIZero 🙌

I am one billion percent interested in getting a usable AP integration working in Roda (and thus Bridgetown). Please let me know what I can do to help make that happen! 🙏

Excited to announce that @fedipub (formerly known as Federails), the Rails engine for #activitypub that powers (amongst other things) @manyfold, has been awarded a grant in the latest round from @NGIZero. I’ll be building community, docs, rounding out features, and ideally making it usable in […]

@Floppy I've also heard that Prismo is being built on Fedipub. That's cool!

I added a list of recommended libraries to the ActivityPub developer guide:

- Fedify (JavaScript, used in Hollo and Ghost)
- Fedipub (Ruby, used in Manyfold)

It’s a third party web service that allows you to post to Bluesky from a Mastodon client. Just translates AP server calls to Fedipub ones
July 5, 2023 at 11:45 PM
Wait, looks like I can repost. Just very slowly as the SkyBlue protocol calls are going through a server and being translated into Fedipub calls that Ivory can read
Looks like I can post and view the timeline but not re-post or fave a post
