Had to break out the Rotex to clean off the rest of this epoxy mold. It chewed right through it, and you can already see that transparency showing up. This gonna light up great with some LEDs.

The cherry edge banding is on, and now it's time to flush it up. I'm getting the OF1400 set up to trim everything clean before assembling this lathe cart. The cherry will help protect the plywood edges and add a nice finished look once it's all together.

I may have gone a little overboard and used the Festool OF 1400 Router for a pretty small job… but wow, the ergonomics and dust collection are unreal. I can already tell this is going to get a lot of use in the shop.
