In Sweden we celebrate Fat Tuesday, in mid February, by eating ”semla” (some call it fettisdagsbulle). The bakeries sells millions of them. Very tasty! ….and we eat them other days too…😁

Today is the day to consume a Swedish Semla/Hetvägg/fettisdagsbulle, but I cheated and got one from the bakery.

February starts with lots of delicious things to eat for afternoon tea. Semla / fettisdagsbulle is a classic Nordic thing to eat befor lent (this is a Faroese version from Friðas in Klaksvik) and February 3rd was the day of the Carrot Cake (this was served at Emanuelsson's Hotel in Tidaholm, Sweden)

ikke helt like! klassisk semla/fettisdagsbulle har mandelfyll/marsipan og ikke syltetøy (og skal helst "graves ut" så fyllet ligger nede i bollen, ikke kun mellom halvdelene).
