I hope they recognize that ignoring, excusing, even celebrating the earlier red flags means that they forced multiple women to go through the anguish of telling their rape stories publicly, with their names attached, in the newspaper. It is their fault Racicot and Fifield are experiencing this pain.
i will not forget the men who downplayed the earlier allegations of abuse against platner and said accepting them was just the price we had to pay to gain control of the senate. i hope they feel like fucking assholes.

Everyone pretended Fifield wasn't credible because she was a Republican, even though Platner didn't even deny that part. Then when the Racicot allegations came out we never circled back around to that.
