Squeaking across the line on the 1st of November for the #HaloFastGrow challenge... whew! I'll get better photos tomorrow, I promise. For now, blurry nonsense and all, there's Fireteam Hammer along with a couple of options I can swap in or out as I like during games of Flashpoint. Happy with that!

Squeaking across the line on the 1st of November for the #HaloFastGrow challenge... whew! I'll get better photos tomorrow, I promise. For now, blurry nonsense and all, there's Fireteam Hammer along with a couple of options I can swap in or out as I like during games of Flashpoint. Happy with that!
I worked on an unofficial Dead Space TTRPG using my FIRETEAM rules system. I based it on the first two games and statted the different kinds of necromorph as well as the weapons/equipment, and imagined it as a combination of weird space shit - like my Those Dark Places game - and marker outbreaks.

Fireteam Hammer finished for the #HaloFastGrow challenge! I've got a few days left... time to paint a couple extra Spartans for some options, I think! The Marines are a funky little blob of softer targets, but add an extra Tactician and Special Order each turn.

Made some cheesy chili dip & played Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
Youngest & his bestie went Trick or Treating as a Serial Killer (w/ghost face mask) & the Final Girl. The boys had a lot of fun & filled their buckets.
I couldn't do even a small ancestor altar or ritual, but it's ok. They know my heart.

I think the key is that the Working Joes in Isolation & Fireteam Elite don't look "friendly", they look utilitarian. Human enough to pass at a glance - you could conceive of them being inoffensive enough that a corporation would actually produce them, but from the start you don't fully trust them.

(We wear those because it's actually quite easy to fall down hills while in NVGs and at least this way your buddies know where to point and laugh)
