Most distros just need to stop shipping configs in /etc. The gap between what I want and what we already have today is really small!

Working on running 80 fpga zynq boards over nfs, I wonder if I should keep using ubuntu.. 24.04 has many things broken (working in 18), only in the arm version. Got it working in the end, but required several 'firstboot' fix scripts to get everything going correctly.
Maybe time to switch to debian.

lol the proxmox bug tracker also uses anubis. I created a forum thread already (https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/fedora-42-lxc-fails-to-boot-due-to-systemd-homed-firstboot-service-misconfiguration.166215/), will move to the bug tracker now
Fedora 42 LXC fails to boot due to systemd-homed-firstboot.service misconfiguration
Hello, when creating a LXC container on Proxmox using the Proxmox supplied Fedora 42 template, no Console session will work by default and the system will not fully boot up. The affected versions are: pve-manager/8.4.1/2a5fa54a8503f96d (running kernel: 6.8.12-10-pve)...
