It was certainly an attempt at 3D. The fishlens camera, the heavily tile based level design, etc really did not work.

Oh boy, I wonder how my followers would react seeing her face with the fishlens view, haha

If it‘s ok for you, I‘d like to try drawing this myself. Should be fun distorting her face like that.

congrats

lol the fishlens perspective on this is so good!!! And that's so hard to draw 😳

It's beautiful!! 💛

Sometimes when I or a friend is getting a comm or lazy doodling for myself i'll make myself a reference using a simple mannequin model. It helps get the exaggerated perspective just how I want it. Blenders cameras can go into a Panorama view that allows you to customize a fishlens POV pretty nicely~

Idk if this interest anyone BUT I THINK I MANAGED TO FIGURE OUT THE VERY BASICS OF DRAWING IN A FISHLENS PERSPECTIVE
(I was going insane trying to figure this out)

finished a sketchbook recently, some stuff from it :)

thats just how it was back then, sometimes there was a fishlens effect

What do you mean they made the (flushed fishlens)🫪 emojii
