I really struggled with this rating. State Navigate's polls show a sizable Election Day and I've got some skepticism on GOP turnout, but Scott is still popular overall despite his tumble in approval. I don't see VT GOP being quite so depressed. He wins quite narrowly.

My polling location in Wilkesboro, NC is a 13.5-hour 1 way drive from my current workplace (Springfield, VT since 10/20/26, 2 hours from my 70-yo Mom & 78-yo stepdad Joe).
I still made that drive & #VOTED on 10/22/26 - then braved a hellacious 4-hour I-81 traffic jam extending return trip to VT.

2024 he campaigned downballot bc the general was a walkover. he broke supermajorities in both the vt house and vt senate as well as the lt govship
