Well, they did tell mom, but they told her while she was on oxycodone, flexeril, and post general anesthetic, and maybe the surgeon told dad, but who the fuck knows. No one told ME, the one with a whole working brain and two working ears. Because I wasn’t there for six days after :((((

If the muscle relaxant they gave you is cyclobenzeprine (brand name Flexeril), be aware that it has a super long half-life.
If you take it at night, it can leave you sleepy for most of the next day.

😩 I literally walked a hole thru my Asics. My Hoka Bondi 8 is no better. But duct tape & some insoles from the dollar tree will hopefully help make them last until December. Put a large bandaid on it & stopped after 6 miles today. Thankful for percocet & Flexeril. I couldn't do it without them.

it’s not like it knocked me out into slumber, it just kept making the room spin and my ears roar and my vision fade til my senses came back. I’m fine, this happened last time I tried Flexeril too, I already feel better since it’s working its way out of my system, but god damn I hated that so much.
