So many hypo#flozinated , under#MRAted and a#glipinated virtual patients in the #Nephrology #moc exam today that I wanted to scream and write these electronic patients scripts for the drugs they were not receiving for their kidney disease. 😓

I just came back my hyper- flozinated clinic. I am not opposed to #Godfather solutions to increase uptake of these meds

99.5% of patients were already receiving the max tolerated dose of a RASi at baseline, & just over half (53.2%) were #flozinated
About 60% had 1+ or more hematuria, with proteinuria 2 g/day & preserved GFR (60 ml/min).

This is in contrast to NEFIGARD where almost no one was #flozinated - likely reflecting the evolution of evidence & growing access.

Still think this was an odd choice (even with the author’s logic). Not seeing lots of hypotension in #flozinated patients unless they are on high dose loops diuretics #NephJC
