We, all of us drove to Altadena today. When we were near San Bernadino airport we saw 3 foscheck tankers land and take on fire retardent. Thus to put out the fires in LA they are flying 90 miles to restore and fly back. They put three tankers back in the air in less than 40 minutes. That is great.

We, all of us drove to Altadena today. When we were near San Bernadino airport we saw 3 foscheck tankers land and take on fire retardent. Thus to put out the fires in LA they are flying 90 miles to restore and fly back. They put three tankers back in the air in less than 40 minutes. That is great.
My home insurer (Allstate) in SoCal has previously stated they will send a truck around to spray foscheck on our house in case of predicted fire.
I’m sure Allstate insured at least some of the houses in PP or Altadena but I didn’t see any reports of those trucks being deployed.

Thank you and the biggest thing when the winds get over 30 miles an hour. The firefighting aircraft cannot drop foscheck nor water. It's the hand crews that have to do the work.
