One step further : After a cuddly journey with @char and @ellie in a comfortable wagon-lits of the :european_sleeper: 453, we arrived perfectly on time for our transfer in Berlin for the local train replacements in towards Erkner and Frankfurt (Oder).

Next major destination : Warsaw 🎉.

New preliminary #fossrail route home planned.

Changes :

- Use Minzhouli border crossing between China and Russia rather than Ulaanbaatar
- Avoid getting Deutsche Bahned and travel via EuroNight rather than nightjet
- Now 19.000 km on trains by schedule

🇱🇦 Laos, or as I call it : Difficult border crossing 🙃.

Not that anything could ever go wrong here but it's slow, chaotic and random. Always plan two hours of buffer. Train arrival at 9 a.m. and connecting train at 11.30 a.m. can end up in a speed run.
