There are so many that just come SO close, but 'Chocolate Cake' immediately disqualifies Crowded House, 'Blowing Bubbles' disqualifies The Lightning Seeds, and I like to try and forget the entire 'Frestonia' album exists for Aztec Camera.

A lot of the boho roots of the current Notting Hill Gate scene can be traced directly back to Frestonia- the fragments of the culture it created are definitely still there

No! I lived in very close proximity to the Rough Trade shop in Kensington Park Road, London (seconds away from my flat) so I was obviously going to be a magnet for a guy to dump his suitcase who was over from Paris and a first signing 😏 I'd already met him via French friends in Frestonia before that
