Good evening, I know it's been a little while since Michael has hosted a Frog Takeover, but we haven't long ventured abroad after the cold of winter and we have been... ahem... a little busy since then.

Good evening. I must apologise, I realise it has been some time since there has been a frog takeover on Michael's page. I must admit, the long, hot, dry summer has been somewhat difficult. I'm much happier now that autumn is round the corner.

Oh, hello. I said you'd be seeing more of me. Autumn is a very froggish time, and I enjoyed a little stroll (well, hop) to see what was about.

But we're back to hunting slugs and enjoying spring again.

There's lots more flowers about this week. Some pretty Chaenomales. Skimmia with abundant Magnolia behind and a meadow full of snake's head fritillary.
